We take the protection of your privacy and your private data very seriously. We collect, store and use your personal data only in accordance with the content of this privacy policy and the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the national data protection regulations.

With this data protection notice, we would like to inform you to what extent and for what purpose personal data is processed in connection with the use of the online offer.

Personal data

Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes all information about your identity, such as your name, your e-mail address or your postal address. However, information that cannot be linked to your identity (such as statistical data, e.g. the number of users of the online service) is not considered personal information.

In principle, you can use our online offer without disclosing your identity and without providing personal data. We will then only collect general information about your visit to our website.

SSL encryption

We use TLS/SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address line of the browser. If it is a TLS/SSL-encrypted page, the address line begins with “https”.

Use of cookies

As on many websites, cookies are used for our online offer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and that store certain settings and data for exchange with our online offer via your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie file was sent as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identifier.

Cookies enable us to recognize your computer and make any pre-settings immediately available. Cookies help us to improve our online offering and to provide you with a better and more personalized service. This is also our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

The cookies we use are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted at the end of the browser session. In some cases, cookies with a longer storage period can also be used so that your default settings and preferences can still be taken into account the next time you visit our website.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent. It is also possible to delete cookies that have already been saved manually via the browser settings. Please note that you may only be able to use our online services to a limited extent or not at all if you reject the storage of cookies or delete necessary cookies.

WebFonts

Our website uses so-called WebFonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. The WebFonts are installed locally. There is no connection to Google servers.

External hosting

Our online offer is hosted by an external service provider. The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its performance obligations and follow our instructions with regard to this data.

Rights of data subjects

You have extensive rights with regard to the processing of your personal data. First of all, you have a comprehensive right to information and can request the correction and/or deletion or blocking of your personal data if necessary. You can also request a restriction of processing and have the right to object.

If you wish to assert one of your rights and/or receive further information about this, please contact us.

Withdrawal of consent and objection

Once you have given your consent, it can be freely withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Social media services

Social media services are only integrated through links.

When you visit our pages on social media services, on which we provide information about our areas of activity and services, present ourselves and wish to communicate with all interested parties, certain information about you is processed.

Unfortunately, we cannot influence the processing of personal data; this is determined by the social media services.

As the operator of the site, we have no interest in the collection and further processing of your individual personal data for analysis or marketing purposes.

Use of LinkedIn

On our website we have linked “our LinkedIn page” via a button. LinkedIn is a web-based social network of the company LinkedIn, 1000 W Maude, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, United States of America. We are registered for the LinkedIn Germany branch, Sendlinger Straße 12, 80331 Munich, Germany. The controller is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

We cannot rule out the possibility that personal data will be transmitted to LinkedIn when you visit the LinkedIn website. Personal data is collected by LinkedIn at the latest when you enter “our LinkedIn page”. We also cannot rule out the possibility that LinkedIn may also transmit the information to a server in a third country.

The provision of personal data is not required by law or contract and is not necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are also not obliged to provide the personal data. However, if you do not provide it, you may not be able to use our LinkedIn online services or not be able to use them to their full extent.

Further information on LinkedIn’s privacy policy can be found at en.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Please note that this service may transfer the data collected to another country. This country may also be outside the European Union and the European Economic Area and therefore not offer an adequate level of data protection. If the data is transferred to the United States of America, there is a risk that your data may be viewed and processed by the US authorities for control and monitoring purposes. In this case, you have no legal remedies that you can use to protect your data.

We have no influence on the processing of data by LinkedIn.
